International Postdocs & Permanent Employment in the US
CU Boulder postdocs are invited to a February 13 webinar with Caplan & Earnest, a Boulder-based law firm focusing on immigration and employer compliance. Attorneys will cover self-petitioning options for U.S. permanent residency and employment implications. Caplan & Earnest counsels companies and individuals on all types of immigration matters, including assisting public and private organizations with visas and permanent residence for employees. Questions may be submitted in advance to opa@colorado.edu by February 5.

Due 1/12: Applications for I-Corps Starting Blocks for Postdoc Inventions
From Venture Partners, the I-Corps Starting Blocks Customer Discovery Workshop on Fridays, January 19, 26 and Feburary 2, will offer postdocs essential tools for translating research into impactful, fundable innovations over a three-week program. The application deadline is January 12.
Due 1/18: Burroughs Wellcome Fund Postdoctoral Diversity Enrichment Program
The Postdoctoral Diversity Enrichment Program (PDEP) provides $60,000 over three years to support the career development activities for underrepresented minority postdoctoral fellows helping advance them to stellar careers in biomedical or medical research. Applications are due January 18.
Due 2/28: HHMI Hanna H. Gray Fellowships
Hanna Gray Fellows receive up to $1.5 million in support for up to eight years spanning postdoctoral training through the transition to starting a lab as faculty. The program is open to all eligible postdocs in the basic biological and biomedical sciences. The deadline is February 28.
Summer 2024 Paid Mentoring Opportunities
CU Science Discovery is currently recruiting postdoc mentors for its six-week summer program that connects motivated high school students to STEM researchers at CU Boulder and the Anschutz Medical Campus. This year’s program runs June 7-July 26. Apply to be a mentor by April 30.
