Raquel Stephany Caceres Mateo

Stephany is a language teacher from Honduras and a PhD candidate in the Equity, Bilingualism, and Biliteracy program at the University of Colorado Boulder’s School of Education. Her research focuses on the transnational and raciolinguistic experiences of emergent bilingual students, particularly newcomer adolescents in U.S. secondary schools. She is interested in exploring the intersections of language, race, and technology, and how these shape students’ educational experiences and identities.
