Erica Lee

- 2021 CU Graduate
- LA for MATH 1212
“I was born and raised in Boulder, and CU felt like the right choice for me. My undergraduate degree is in Information Science from CMCI, and then I went on to get my Master's in Business Analytics from Leeds."
“I remember lots of students coming into my office hours to ask questions, and it was always really rewarding getting to help them succeed. MATH 1212 was essentially an introduction to statistics class, and some of the topics are challenging, so it always felt good when I was able to help the students that came into my office hours."
"Currently, I am a Data Scientist at FirstBank. It is a project-based role where I get to work with many different departments, from Marketing to Compliance to Fraud, and help solve a wide variety of problems using data analytics and machine learning methods. I love how dynamic my job is, so no two days are the same!"
"I loved being an LA because it helped define my desire to take on leadership roles. I got to further strengthen my knowledge of the subject area and built solid relationships with my professors."
"As an LA, you are a huge help to the professors you work with by assisting in classes and holding additional office hours. It's a great way to learn how to tutor others in a subject area you are interested in while building connections with professors and shaping your own leadership skills."
