Senior Scientist
Justin Johnson is a Senior Scientist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). His research interests include investigating the dynamics of photophysical phenomena associated with solar light harvesting, energy storage, and quantum information in both molecular and nanoscale semiconductor systems. These include processes in which understanding, and engineering of intermolecular and interfacial interactions are crucial. Advanced time-resolved spectroscopy techniques, including ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy and pulse electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy, are employed to provide a detailed picture of electron, energy, and spin dynamics.
