NIRSA Championship Series: Peaks to Plains Showdown
CU Boulder is proud to host the NIRSA Championship Series Region 5 Basketball Tournament on March 7-9, 2025.
The Peaks to Plains Showdown is open to all collegiate intramural and club teams. Champions in each division will receive a paid team entry fee to the NIRSA National Basketball Championship happening April 11-13 in Madison, WI.

Tournament schedule and format
- Pool play will begin on the morning of Saturday, March 8.
- Playoff games will begin Saturday afternoon and conclude on Sunday, March 9.
- Tournament format will be dependent upon the number of teams.
- The tournament format, number of games and game length may change due to a team not showing up or circumstances beyond control.
- Final game schedules will be provided to each team and posted on the IMLeagues site the week of the event.
