iSAT’s own Martha Palmer is first Woman to obtain a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh! Her research is focused on capturing elements of the meanings of words that can comprise automatic representations of complex sentences and documents. Co-Principal Investigator of Strand 1, Martha leads her team in building our AI Partners’ rich dialogue capability for discussions with students and teachers, both through language and non-verbal communication. Congratulations Martha!
