Laura (Lore) Stacey

My academic and professional goals include pursing a career as a professor involved in research in a lab. Before working with STUDIO and the LifeSkills Training team at the Institute of Behavioral Sciences, the process of pursing that goal felt overwhelming. However, getting experience in research at this early stage has helped me to shift that viewpoint and see each of the steps long the way as approachable and possible. Any research experience that I gain at this point in the process will help me in making my goal of pursuing a career in research a reality. My continued experience in the research process through STUDIO will prepare me with a solid foundation upon which to build any future research that I am a part of.
