Reed Brzezinski

I am in the field of computer science because it will maximize my ability to help people. Within that, doing research benefits people greatly, whether directly and immediately, or decades later, such as in the case of mRNA research that facilitated the development of the COVID-19 vaccine. Furthermore, I intend to go into the field of Quantum Computing. As such a new field, research will be integral to my experience in the workforce. Working on research is a skill like any other, and I would like to begin to develop this skill as soon as possible. 
While I am majoring in a STEM field, I have numerous other interests that could connect with Studio Lab’s projects. I am fluent in Spanish and have worked with kids who speak Spanish as their first language, teaching them basic computing skills. In addition, I am an internationally elected leader in my spiritual organization. These experiences have allowed me to expand my skills and flexibility, which will be beneficial in a research environment that involves learning and growth.
