John Kembel

John Kembel is a serial technology entrepreneur and design thinking educator. As a co-founder of d.global (a not-for-profit organization born out of the Stanford d.school) and as the founder of DT Dojo, he teaches design thinking and entrepreneurial mindsets globally.

As the founder and Managing Director of Reframe Group, he advises startups and consults with global enterprises, helping them tap into latent business value by cultivating human-centered design and innovation practices. John specializes in navigating digital disruption, re-imagining customer & employee experiences, and design thinking ESG initiatives (e.g., well-being, diversity & inclusion, and sustainability).

John founded multiple technology startups in Silicon Valley and in Boulder, led teams through acquisitions, and built enterprise-scale design transformation programs helping brands globally become more customer-centered. Additionally, he served as a Founding Strategy Board Member and Consulting Associate Professor at the Stanford d.school.
