Monday, October 6
State of the Research and Innovation Enterprise
11–11:45 a.m., lunch to follow Sustainability, Energy and Environment Community (SEEC) Building, Room C120 Free and open to the public; registration required
As a Tier 1 public research university, CU Boulder has a thriving ecosystem of research, scholarship and creative work. In this hour-long talk, Massimo Ruzzene, senior vice chancellor for research and innovation and dean of the institutes, will share significant metrics, trends, insights and aspirations from the university’s research and innovation enterprise. He’ll also provide a closer look at some of CU Boulder’s unique offerings and accomplishments from the past year.
Attendees are invited to stay after the event for lunch, from 12–1 p.m.

Core Facilities Open House and Industry Fair
11 a.m.—2 p.m. Sustainability, Energy and Environment Community (SEEC) Building, Room C120 Free and open to anyone interested in using CU Boulder Core Facilities within academia, industry and beyond
Join representatives from Core Facilities across the CU Boulder campus, as well as colleagues from Industry, for our showcase event highlighting CU Boulder's Core Facilities alongside representatives from local industry that work with our Cores.

Developed and hosted in Boulder since 2018, UROP's Sidewalk Symposium invites undergraduates to create and share their research and creative presentations with chalk on campus walkways.
UROP welcomes undergraduates at any stage of their project timeline to participate in this year's Sidewalk Symposium by creating project presentations—using nothing but chalk.
