Welcome to CU Science Discovery,

a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education outreach program at the University of Colorado Boulder. Science Discovery manages programs that engage K-12 students and teachers in STEM and connect public audiences with the STEM research happening at CU Boulder. Science Discovery programs utilize CU scientific expertise, equipment, resources and faculty, graduate and undergraduate students in order to provide participants with unique, experiential STEM learning experiences.

Day-Off and Holiday Classes: November 10-11

Science Discovery has developed two-day classes to assist working families with care on November 10 and 11. Classes will run from 9am-4pm each day and offer the same benefits of a traditional camp program but in a more condensed time frame.

Thanksgiving Break Classes: November 24-25

It's the season of gratitude! Our Thanksgiving break classes explore STEM in a number of ways – through looking at how science keeps us healthy and safe, by learning how science impacts our favorite fall treats, and by exploring the exciting world of codable drones! Winter Break Classes: December 22-23

Winter break is right around the corner, and Science Discovery is celebrating with a couple of chilly-themed classes for those in grades K-5. These full-day, two-day classes explore the Arctic and winter solstice science, giving participants better insight into what they can expect from Mother Nature at this time of year.
