STEM Comic Workshop with Craniate

The Craniate Research team, part of the ATLAS Research Institute at CU Boulder, is conducting a workshop as part of a research study on the use of comics to embed cultural representation into STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) education. This workshop is open to learners of all types, ages 9-13 years old. People with marginalized traits or identities are especially encouraged to attend. Participation will take 90 minutes (1 and a half hours), and adults are welcome to come but not required to attend. Participants will receive a free comic and stickers as compensation for their time. There are no known risks involved in this research. El equipo de Craniate Research, parte del Instituto de Investigación ATLAS de CU Boulder, está llevando a cabo un taller como parte de un estudio de investigación sobre el uso de cómics para incorporar la representación cultural en la educación STEAM (ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería, arte y matemáticas).
