The CU Freeskiing Club Sports Team has been a collegiate power in all of our programs since 1990. Being 9 time national champions we strive for excellence on and off the mountain. On snow is broken broke down into 2 programs: Big Mountain and Park/Pipe. Our Big mountain team competes in FWQ 2* and 4* competitions (some notable competitions are Breckenridge, Taos, Crested Butte, Grand Targhee). Our Park team competes in the rocky mountain series of USASA in Slopestyle and Rail Jam competitions (to name a few: Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Winter Park) and in the USCSA Nationals competition. Starting in the fall CU Freeskiing will be gearing our athletes for success with our dryland and diving/trampoline practices and transitioning to more on-snow training as the ski season begins. To assist in off-mountain success our team members will always have access to a reserved study area on campus while the library and other quiet areas are full.
