Christopher Mellott

My name is Christopher Mellott (he/him), and I serve as a Senior Coordinator in Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution(SCCR).

I attended the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) and studied History with a minor in Geography and Environmental Sciences; Post undergraduate, I earned a Master of Arts in Leadership: Student Affairs in Higher Education at UCCS while also starting my professional career. After five years in Residence Life at UCCS, I joined the Resolution Center for Student Conduct and Conflict at Gonzaga University, focusing on Student Conduct and the intersection of care, concern, and accountability. While at Gonzaga, I earned certifications in Restorative Justice and The Science of Happiness. I also spent time as a Retail Experience Manager for Fleet Feet Syracuse before joining the SCCR team in January 2022.

I also serve on the Directorate Board for ACPA's Commission for Student Conduct and Legal Issues.
Aside from work, I enjoy training for and racing ultramarathon races, reading, painting miniatures, writing, coaching runners, and spending time with my partner, our toddler, and our dog, Diesel.
