Megan Varra is new to CU Boulder, just beginning her tenure in January 2023.
She lived and worked in San Diego at UC San Diego after graduating from San Diego State University in 2019 and earning her MS in 2022. She found her passion of working with college students as an orientation leader, peer advisor, and other student roles in her undergraduate career. As a professional, she finds her purpose by encouraging student self-advocacy and storytelling, empowerment through education, and community building. She is also involved in the Mechanical Engineering DEI Working Group. Finally, she was a member of the Denver Leadership Foundation: Impact Denver during Fall 2023 to connect with professional networks across Colorado.
Megan is a third-generation Coloradan who is excited to be back home and breathe in the fresh mountain air. In her downtime, you can find her cooking, watching or attending the Broncos and Avalanche games, and cuddling with her corgi, Barney.
