Jasimine has lived from coast to coast in the US as a Military dependent. Her work has revolved around student development, career development, student support, Residence Life, Athletics, student conduct, learning communities, and crisis response. As a First-Generation student, Jasimine completed her undergraduate career at the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an Interdisciplinary minor. She gained her Master of Education in Counseling-Student Affairs at Northern Arizona University (NAU). 

During her time at CU Boulder, she has worked with initiatives such as TransferWest Living Learning Community (LLC), Be First LLC, Transfer Student Working Group, NASPA Undergraduate Fellowship Program, Public Interest Internship Experience, Boulder Campus Staff Council, presented various trainings and been involved with various inclusivity initiatives across campus. As she continues in the work, she is committed to underrepresented student success especially First-Generation students, inclusivity/equity, professional development of new professionals, service-learning, learning communities and overall bringing voices to the table that may be missing. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing with her dog, attending live shows and going on foodie adventures.
