TEDxCUTEDxCU, an independently-organized annual TED event, is seeking applicants to speak at this year's spring 2017 occurrence. Students, faculty and community members who are experts on specific topics related to the theme "Chain Reaction: From Ideas to Revolution" are highly encouraged to apply online.

Past speakers represent CU students, alumni, faculty, staff and community members.

In the fall of 2012, two students and an alumnus of the University of Colorado Boulder sought to create an evening of thought-provoking talks that would serve as a connecting platform for the CU and the community of Boulder—both of which are thought leaders within their respective arenas and have a lot to offer one another.

Today, TEDxCU is a collaborative student organization between the College of Media, Communication and Information and the Leeds School of Business scholars program.

The event, which is completely organized by current and former CU students, has now had three successful runs. TEDxCU looks to build a long-standing tradition that organizers, students and the surrounding community can look forward to each spring.

TEDxCU 2017 will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2017, in Old Main.
