The Department of Human Resources is now accepting applications for a diversity search and outreach program manager, who will be charged with enhancing the university's ability to attract and retain the very best faculty and staff.

Recognizing, in order to achieve this goal, the university needs to promote and attract diverse candidate pools and improve its image and appeal to members of underrepresented populations as an employer of choice, the diversity search and outreach program manager role was created.

The person in this position will be responsible for attracting a diverse talent pool; educating recruiters, hiring authorities and search committees; and developing programs for achieving diversity goals.

Reporting to the director of Organizational and Employee Development within Human Resources (HR), this position will collaborate closely with the diversity education program manager and the affirmative action officer. He or she will also work with the HR Talent Acquisition team to identify and address specific programmatic gaps in placement goals and leadership development with an eye toward improving the likelihood that diverse faculty and staff will choose to come and stay at the university.
