Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a thriving financial center perfect for any intern looking for immersion in a fast-paced global economy, while experiencing a unique fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. After a dramatic boom in economic growth over the past few decades, Hong Kong has found itself at the center of rapid globalization, now the second largest host to corporate headquarters in the Asia-Pacific region.

Getting around is a breeze, too, whether you’re commuting to work or going to explore the rich range of activities the city has to offer. Hong Kong has an extremely sophisticated public transportation system that around 90 percent of its citizens use—that’s the highest in the world!

London

London is one of two Alpha++ Global Cities in the Global Cities Index (matched only by New York City), making it the dream internship spot for a student seeking experience abroad in any field. London alone has five major business districts, with its leading industry in finance, and is the world’s largest currency trading center. Not looking for an internship in business or finance? Not to worry, London’s technology, tourism, sports, and cultural sectors are thriving, offering nearly any imaginable hands-on work opportunity in the city.

During your down time, you’ll have every opportunity to explore London’s endless parks and landmarks, enjoy trademark meals like fish and chips, and connect with local life.
