Nov. 21: Provost’s Fellowship in Information Science
For graduate students interested in understanding the expanding roles of libraries and librarians in the evolving information ecosystem, apply for the Provost’s Fellowship in Information Science at University Libraries. Fellows are awarded $3,000 for 150 hours to develop a project with library faculty.
Dec. 3: Women’s Leadership Symposium
Submit a program for spring 2019 Women’s Leadership Symposium, which seeks to explore a variety of ways women/women-identified individuals build their leadership skills and feel empowered to become tomorrow’s leaders.
Jan. 8: Chateaubriand Fellowship Applications
The Chateaubriand Fellowships support outstanding PhD students interested in conducting research in France for four to nine months in two areas:
- Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics & Biology-Health (STEM)
- Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS)
Jan. 11: Open Space and Mountain Parks Funded Research Program, RFP
City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks Department (OSMP) has an RFP open for scientific inquiry on OSMP lands. The maximum award amount is $10,000.

Deadlines for December graduates
Nov. 20: Doctoral dissertation submission
Doctoral students must have a dissertation and signature page submitted and approved by this deadline to graduate in December.
Nov. 21: Master’s thesis defense/final exam
Master's students must complete the thesis defense or final examination by this date in order to graduate in December.
Nov. 26: Grade changes for doctoral students
Doctoral students who have any incomplete grades from past or current semesters must resolve those grades by this date in order to graduate in December.
Nov. 28: Master’s thesis submission deadline
Master's thesis plan students must have a thesis and signature page submitted and approved by this deadline to graduate in December.
Dec. 3: Grade changes for master’s students
Master's students who have incomplete grades from past or current semesters must resolve those grades by this date in order to graduate in December.
