The Boulder Police Department has launched a new mobile app designed to give those who live, work or visit the city better access to the police department’s resources. The mobile app is designed to give users direct access to the department’s news, resources, alerts and more. In addition, the mobile app is integrated with the Boulder Police online reporting platform, which allows users to make police reports online for incidents that occur in the city.

“We are always looking for better ways to communicate with our community. Boulder is a tech-savvy community. We are hopeful that the mobile app platform will allow us to share information directly in a more convenient and timely manner,” Police Chief Greg Testa.

The app is available for free download in the iOS App Store for Apple users or in the Google Play Store for Android users by searching “Boulder Police Department.” A web-based version of the app can be accessed online at www.boulderpdapp.com.
