Mariah HiltonMariah Hilton, an architecture major and lighting design certificate recipient from Montrose, Colorado, loved the environmentally-conscious attitude that came as a priority from ENVD.

“Mariah has been a strong example of student leadership and making the most of her ENVD education. Her work and her commitment to this community is something that will be sincerely missed. She consistently goes above and beyond to help others and connect with various members of this community. She has served in several leadership roles since starting in ENVD including her EDSG and Peer Mentor position. Thankful to have student leadership staff who consistently go above and beyond to connect with others- they are what make this community so great!” –Anonymous

Mariah HiltonCongratulations to everyone! I know the situation is not ideal but despite the stress, hours of work, lack of sleep, and a virus interrupting life as we know it, we persevered through challenges and we made it! I can't wait to see what the future brings for us all.

I was amazed at the well-rounded approach to design that ENVD offers. I loved the energy of everyone I met when touring and was inspired by the work I was shown. I love the environmentally-conscious attitude that is a priority to the program.

I will definitely miss and the connections that I have made between both students and staff members. Being immersed in a community of creative people who push me to be better is such a unique experience that I was grateful to have been a part of. And a BIG THANKS to Marianne Holbert and Dylan West for helping me through many challenges I faced and always being people I could count on throughout my time at ENVD.

There's nothing like the late-night shenanigans that go with model making at 4 a.m. However, my time abroad in Copenhagen was the most memorable and life-changing experiences at ENVD. I learned so much and met so many amazing people who broadened my perspective of design and pushed me to be more well-rounded and creative in my thinking process.

[The coronavirus pandemic] shot my plans to hell so at this point I'm just going with the flow and trying to stay open to whatever life brings my way! I'm hoping to work my way to a career in architecture and excited to see what the future has in store.
