The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is proposing to permanently discontinue or reduce service to 10 bus routes and five light rail routes, effective Jan. 10. These changes may affect your commute.
CU Boulder RTD riders may select from multiple avenues to provide input on the proposed route changes by Oct. 14:
- Attending one of four public meetings hosted by RTD
- Emailing service.changes@rtd-denver.com
- Calling 303-299-2004
- Faxing comments to 303-299-2227
Public meetings
All public meetings will be conducted through Microsoft Teams, which allows people to participate using their computer or mobile device or by calling in. During these meetings, RTD’s service planning staff will highlight the proposed service changes and field questions from the public. All feedback will be reviewed and taken into consideration as RTD prepares the final service plan.
The meeting schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 6 p.m. (English)
- Thursday, Oct. 8, at noon (English)
- Saturday, Oct. 10, at 10:30 a.m. (English)
- Monday, Oct. 12, at 6 p.m. (Spanish)
RTD’s board of directors will consider all public comments about the January service changes before taking final action on Oct. 27. Modifications take effect on Jan. 10.
