CU Boulder Staff Council will be sponsoring an off-campus blood drive November 8th - 21st at the Boulder and Westminster Vitalant donation centers.
Thanks to skilled and acclaimed CU arborists, and the on-campus Idea Forge, CU-affiliated donors who give during the drive at the Boulder and Westminster locations will receive a one-of-a-kind logoed wooden coaster, while supplies last. Each coaster is 100% sourced and created from the CU Boulder campus, and will include a brief story of the source tree’s campus location and growth history.
Since 1973 the CU Boulder Staff Council has been partnering with Vitalant (formerly Bonfils Blood Center) to facilitate on-campus blood drives. Owing to the generosity of CU blood donors, for the past few years CU has been named the top mobile blood donation program in Colorado.
Staff Council also wishes to encourage staff participation in this year’s coat drive to help Coloradoans in need during the cold winter months. We are cancelling on-campus coat collections, but staff can donate lightly used coats at Dependable Cleaners locations through the end of November. Or check out the Sister Carmen Community Center in Lafayette for coat, food, and other volunteer opportunities.
