Lori Peek, professor and director of the Natural Hazards Center, was invited by Chairman Bennie Thompson to testify before the Committee on Homeland Security for the U.S. House of Representatives in a hearing on “Ensuring Equity in Disaster Preparedness, Response, and Recovery.” The hearing will be held at 8 a.m., MDT, Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021.
