winter graduationFor many graduates, receiving a diploma is a ceremonial leap into the ‘real world.’ Whether you have your plans set for after graduation or you’re still figuring things out, take advantage of these career resources for Forever Buffs.

Use Handshake

Just like LinkedIn, Handshake is an online recruiting tool used by hundreds of employers with job postings for CU students. By having a public account on Handshake, you are five times more likely to be found by the more than 14,000 employers around the world who use Handshake. Handshake is a great resource for:

  • Searching for jobs.

  • Connecting with employers ranging from small local businesses and nonprofits to large national and international companies.

  • Learning about career fairs, panels and other industry-focused events.

As a Forever Buff, you can continue using Handshake after graduation.

Attend career events

Through Handshake, you can find career events, workshops, panels, fairs, info sessions and more. Many of these events are being held both in person and virtually.

After graduation, Forever Buffs are always welcome at CU Boulder career and internship fairs.

Connect with your network
