Greg Rieker (left) is set to testify in a House Science Committee hearing.

CU Boulder's Greg Rieker, associate professor of mechanical engineering, will testify at 8 a.m. (MDT) on Wednesday, June 8, in a House Science Committee hearing. The hearing will focus on efforts to monitor methane emissions from the oil and gas sector. Rieker is an expert in laser-based sensing and is a co-founder of LongPath Technologies.
