Lime Scooters can now move west of 28th Street into several new “Lime Grove” access areas (designated Lime Scooter parking zones) on Main Campus: one near the Engineering Center and one near the CU Events Center. A third location adjacent to Kittredge West is coming soon.
These locations have been added to allow students, faculty and staff to move more efficiently to and from East Campus and Williams Village to Main Campus. See Lime’s in-app map for details.

Getting started on a Lime Scooter is simple:
- Download the app, available for Android and iPhone.
- Look for a scooter on the map. Once you track one down, scan the QR code to unlock it.
- The areas where you can ride and park the e-scooters are shown in the Lime app.
Tips to stay safe
Below are some tips to best keep yourself and others around you safe:
- Always wear a helmet when you ride. Helmets reduce the risk of serious head injury.
- Follow all traffic laws.
- Stop at stop signs and traffic lights.
- Use intersections or crosswalks to cross the street.
- Always yield to pedestrians.
- Take caution traveling on sidewalks and share the space.
