To the fall graduates: My sincerest congratulations to all of you who are receiving master’s and doctoral degrees this month.
Earning an advanced degree during the last several years has been challenging given all that has transpired in the world and in your lives. Your perseverance and achievements are inspiring, and I know that your colleagues, families and friends are immensely proud of all that you have accomplished. We are honored to count you among our esteemed graduates.
As you transition into being a Forever Buff, my hope is that you will maintain your spirit of curiosity, regularly use your talents of inquiry and discovery, and put to use all your newly honed skills as you pursue even greater accomplishments for yourself, your community, and for the world.
