CU PIIE provides paid summer internships with nonprofit and government agencies in the Denver and Boulder metro areas. Since 2006, PIIE has connected more than 150 students with internships in nonprofits, education, health, law, sustainability and more.

Here are reasons to consider applying for the CU PIIE program.

Earn money

Internships with nonprofits and government agencies are rarely paid. PIIE offers students a unique opportunity to receive a stipend while working in public service. For 2023, interns chosen for the PIIE program will receive a total of $4,680.
