For international students in need of financial support during times of global crises, CU Boulder’s International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) can help by nominating eligible students for one-time grants from the Institute of International Education’s (IIE) Emergency Student Fund.

When nominations open with IIE, ISSS reaches out to potentially eligible international students. If the student qualifies, ISSS submits a nomination on the student’s behalf. For all students nominated for the IIE Emergency Student Fund, ISSS provides limited, one-time financial support from the ISSS International Student Emergency Grant.

When the IIE Emergency Student Fund recently opened grant applications for U.S.-based university students from Israel, Gaza and the West Bank affected by the ongoing conflict, ISSS took immediate action to nominate eligible international students.

ISSS wants the international community at CU Boulder to feel supported, safe and comfortable during their time on campus and encourages international students to reach out to ISSS for a chat or with any questions. The doors, ears and hearts of the ISSS team are always open.
