On the occasion of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 15, the University Libraries has produced a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Resource Guide. The guide is designed for anyone interested in learning more about Martin Luther King Jr. and the rich history of the civil rights movement. It contains resources for research and instruction, opportunities for action and engagement locally and nationally, resources for addressing racial trauma, recommendations for books, films, podcasts and media about the life of Rev. Dr. King, and history of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

On Jan. 22, the University of Colorado Boulder will host the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Convocation, open to students, faculty, staff and the Boulder community. The event aims to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and his contributions to the civil rights movement and will include a keynote address by Tabatha L. Jones Jolivet, PhD. This event was sponsored by the Center for African and African American Studies, the Leeds School of Business and the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
