NEH Fellowship Peer Editing Workshop Series

Facilitated by Proposal Writer/Editor Donna Axel, the annual NEH Fellowship Peer Editing Workshop Series includes an Intro + Q&A Session on Jan. 25, a Categories & Requirements Session on Jan. 31, and a Peer Editing Workshop (March, TBD by participants) to hone the narrative portion of your fellowship application.
The virtual program is designed to assist faculty in submitting a proposal to the NEH Fellowships, due April 10. Participants will also learn how to reuse, repurpose and recycle proposals for other opportunities, e.g., NEH Summer Stipends (due in the Fall with similar requirements).

RIO's 2024 NSF CAREER Commit-to-Submit Writing Program
Are you considering submitting an NSF Faculty Career Development Program (CAREER) proposal in 2024? RIO's 2024 NSF CAREER Commit-to-Submit Writing Program can provide you with an easy two-step setup process. With over 160 awardees from CU Boulder, join us to benefit from this valuable institutional knowledge.
Led by Proposal Writer Diane Carillo, this program is designed to support your proposal development from start to finish through one-on-one writing and proposal development coaching, optional peer writing groups, red team reviews and proposal draft reviews. Participants will learn the ins and outs of writing a competitive NSF CAREER proposal with the goal of submitting a strong proposal by the July 24 deadline.
Participants from all colleges and schools are welcome.

*NEW* JEDIA Scholar Learning Community!
On behalf of the Research and Innovation Office, Dr. Tanya Ennis invites scholars, researchers, creators and innovators to help launch a new Scholar Learning Community focused on 1) applying for justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (JEDIA) funding opportunities, 2) developing JEDIA-related plans to meet agency requirements (e.g., NSF Broader Impacts Plans, Dept of Energy PIER plans), and 3) fostering a safe space for scholars to engage in mutual learning and support. Dr. Ennis is excited to work with scholars across all colleges, schools, and departments! We invite you to participate in the Scholar Learning Community and three workshops offered this semester, providing a unique opportunity to connect with others across the university.
Register below for the first of three workshops “Finding JEDIA Funding Opportunities” supported by the university’s DEI Impact Grant with matching funds from RIO. Up to 40 participants will receive $250 for participation in all three workshops and in the Scholar Learning Community.
