Curious Sunshine Workshop

Learn about managing emotions through guided play during the Curious Sunshine Workshop. It will be a blast! 


Tuesday, Feb. 27 

Let’s Get Sleepy

11 a.m.–1 p.m.  Engineering Center, BOLD Center 
Learn about correlations between sleep and health. Afterward, you will leave with a complimentary pair of earplugs and a sleep mask. 

Shark Tank

11 a.m.–2 p.m.  Koelbel Building, Leeds School of Business, Olson Atrium
Students are invited to deliver 30- to 60-second business pitches during this Shark Tank inspired presentation. No slides needed. 

Academic coaching workshop: Note-taking

1–2 p.m. Virtual 
Are your note-taking skills up to par? Learn more about strategies and the importance of note-taking during this workshop. 

Pride Dinner & Discussion: Queer Adaptability

5–7 p.m.  C4C N320 
Have a productive discussion about the intersection of disability and queer identity. Sonja, who identifies on the autism spectrum, has OCD and uses mobility aids, will be hosting the dinner.

Ballot Processing Facility open house, tours

Questions about ballot security and election processes? Learn about ballot processing firsthand by attending a Boulder County Elections Division in-person tour at their Ballot Processing Facility. Tours take approximately 30 minutes. 

Climate Action Plan public engagement session

1–2 p.m.  Virtual
The Climate Action Plan works to mobilize CU Boulder’s strengths and help reduce emissions. This public forum is a chance for members of the university community to share their thoughts with and ask questions to those who steer CAP. 

WellCU: Party Smart

3:30–5 p.m.  Wardenburg Health Center, Room 321 
Have fun and stay safe with smart partying techniques. Those interested can register online. 

Build a Rope Rug

5:30–7 p.m.  Rec Center, Outdoor Pursuits Classroom $30
Turn an old climbing rope into a new work of art! Either bring your own old rope or use one of the ropes provided.

Women’s Leadership Symposium

Celebrate CU Boulder’s impact on student leaders at the Chancellor’s Annual Summit. 

Trash The Runway: Recycled Couture

7 p.m.  Macky Auditorium $25
Trash the Runway is an event where designers create couture out of trash. During this fashion show and competition, 29 designers will show off their creativity.

Enjoy an evening of dance works produced by CU Boulder students. If you can’t make it this Friday, Open Space is also taking place March 2–3.

Climate Justice Ally and Accomplice Workshop
