It’s almost spring break! Before you leave, take advantage of these campus offerings: charcuterie snacks, Interviewing 101, a visiting artist lecture, a chance to see how UV rays have affected your skin, an Elton John laser show, student recitals, Japanese Movie Night and more.

Interviewing 101

Make sure you ace your next job or internship interview with Interviewing 101. Attendees will learn about interviewing basics, the STAR method and more.

Jovan Speller: Visiting Artist Lecture

4–5 p.m.  Visual Arts Complex auditorium (1B20)
Jovan Speller, a Minnesota-based artist, is giving a lecture. She uses her photography, installation, sound, text and mixed-media visual work to interpret historical narratives. 


Tuesday, March 19

All sun and games until you get burnt!

11 a.m.–1 p.m.  Wardenburg Health Center 
Sunscreen is an important tool for protecting your skin and health. Try a skin imager to see how UV rays have affected your skin thus far. 

Japanese Movie Night: ‘Ghost in the Shell’

4–6 p.m.  Eaton Humanities, Room 1B80
Enjoy a showing of “Ghost in the Shell,” a 1995 animated classic. The film stars a cyborg police woman on a journey to hunt down a hacker. A discussion (in English) will follow.

Make an informed decision about who you want to represent the student body next year. At the debate, candidates will discuss their policies, plans and priorities. 

10th annual Hebrew Schmooze-A-Palooza

7 p.m.  UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
Check out a performance by CU Hebrew students and faculty and the larger community, featuring songs about peace and hope.

Womxn’s Appreciation Cards: Celebrating Womxn’s Herstory Month

Share a token of your appreciation at the UMC. Celebrate a special woman in your life by writing them an appreciation card.

Celebrate Indigiqueer Day
