RIO welcomes new and early-career faculty to join the Principal Investigator (PI) Academy
Distinct from Thriving at CU through the Office of Faculty Affairs, the PI Academy provides a more in-depth dive into the CU Boulder research and creative work ecosystem. We encourage you to look through both programs to ensure you maximize your first few years at CU Boulder.
The Principal Investigator (PI) Academy creates a space where new and early-career faculty engage with peers on core research topics. Participants are positioned to effectively identify, apply for and secure external funding for their research, scholarly, and creative projects, while also networking with fellow researchers.

JEDIA Scholar Learning Community invites scholars, researchers, creators and innovators to join
The community will focus on applying for justice, equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (JEDIA) funding opportunities; developing JEDIA-related plans to meet agency requirements (e.g. NSF Broader Impacts Plans, Department of Energy PIER Plans); and fostering a safe space for scholars to engage in mutual learning and support through the following workshops:
