Enjoy the spring weather, Buffs! This week brings to campus an Earth Day red sunflower seed pickup, an AI showcase, poker and Super Smash Bros tournaments, a Holi celebration, a free dinner for transfer students and more.

Monday, April 14

I Love Mondays: Breakfast sandwiches

  2 p.m.   UMC, North Dining Room
Stop by for a snack on your way to class and the opportunity to learn about different campus organizations. This Monday we will be serving breakfast sandwiches.  

Red Sunflower Seed Pickup

  2–4 p.m.   Norlin Library, East entrance
Pick up seeds to grow CU Boulder’s iconic red sunflower for Earth Day as part of a take-home gardening project called One Seed. The project explores the red sunflower’s historical ties to CU Boulder and the scientific aspects of this unique plant.

Adopted and Multiracial Mixer

Looking to connect with others who share your experiences? Participate in this dialogue focusing on the experiences of adopted and multiracial people.

Billiards tournament

Chancellor’s State of the Campus Address and Lunch

  11 a.m.   UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom
Chancellor Justin Schwartz will deliver his inaugural State of the Campus address to the campus, where he will reflect on where we stand and outline a vision for the future of CU Boulder as he concludes his first academic year on campus. The chancellor will discuss how the campus is navigating uncertainty and will share his vision for how we will continue to meet the university’s mission together. Following his address, attendees will be invited to enjoy a buffet lunch and mingle with the chancellor. All are invited to attend and a valid Buff OneCard is required for entry.

Ace Your Interview Workshop

In this interactive workshop, dive into the art of interviewing and gain the confidence to answer any question that comes your way. We’ll break down the different types of interviews, explore common questions and show you how to craft responses using the START method.
