Come visit a showcase of more than 100 student projects in virtual reality, physical computing, mobile apps, human-computer interactions and more at the ATLAS Expo, which takes place 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7. It's free and open to the public.

Bringing together a community's vision and enhancing a neighborhood through design is no small task. But with this aim, and working with the city, CU Boulder students have tried their hand at such a project and will present their work to the public at eTown Hall.

On Monday, Dec. 5, Program Council will be hosting an advance screening of the holiday movie "Office Christmas Party," starring several Hollywood notables.

On Thursday, Dec. 8, Research Computing will be hosting a meet-and-greet event that will include a tour of their new supercomputer, Summit. They will be conducting multiple tours that day from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Conservative journalist Milo Yiannopoulos will talk at CU Boulder on Jan. 25 as part of a national college speaking tour.

Enjoy a night of conversation, themed food, great art and great music. Don't miss First Thursday, a free event series where CU Art Museum visitors are treated to Radio 1190's musical interpretation of an art exhibit. First Thursday happens next on Dec. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Environmental Center is hosting the Campus Sustainability Summit on Thursday, Dec. 1. The information-sharing forum will feature strategic updates and inter-departmental discussion on campus sustainability initiatives.

In this Dec. 7 talk, LASP Atmospheric Scientist and CU Boulder Professor of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Peter Pilewskie will discuss some of the challenges of monitoring Earth's climate trends from space.

Professor Stephen Mojzsis from the Department of Geological Sciences will discuss his new research on this topic as part of the next CU on the Weekend lecture on Saturday, Dec. 3.

Tomorrow, Nov. 29, CU Boulder invites the community to support the university by participating in #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving.
