This semester, the CWA Speaker Series will host two talks on the CU Boulder campus. The first will feature Daniel TraubNYC-based filmmaker and photographer on Oct. 27. Then on Nov. 3, the CWA will host Vice President of Data Strategy for Twitter Chris Moody. Both events are free and open to students and the community.

Daniel Traub will be hosted on campus on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 6:30 p.m. in Old Main. The evening will include a discussion, audience Q&A and a multimedia presentation diving into the story behind the work in the award-winning photography book Little North Road: Africa in China. Chris Moody joins the CWA Speaker Series on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 6:30 p.m. in Old Main. Moody is considered a pioneer in the social data industry and has worked closely with leading social platforms such as Twitter, Tumblr, Foursquare, WordPress, Disqus and more to formulate and execute their data strategies. The event will include an on-stage interview by a CWA Student Volunteer and an audience Q&A. The CWA Speaker Series will also be fielding questions for Moody ahead of and during the event via Twitter.
