The jubilant BolderBoulder 10K race returned to Folsom Field on May 30. Part fun fest, part professional race and part Memorial Day tribute, the event included thousands of participants and onlookers.

There was no shortage of glee, pride and nostalgia as thousands of people gathered to celebrate the CU Boulder Class of 2022. The commencement ceremony included the traditional procession from Norlin Quad, a variety of speakers and recognitions, and beaming graduates and families.
On May 3, members of the U.S. House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology and Colorado congressional delegation joined leaders and scientists from CU Boulder to showcase university research and federal partnerships.
Following a planting in the fall, CU Boulder formally dedicated a tree near Farrand Field to the 10 lives lost in the King Soopers tragedy last March. The ceremony featured several speakers, and attendees were encouraged to participate in a ceremonial planting.
On Feb. 25, Colorado Department of Higher Education Executive Director Angie Paccione visited the campus for a learning tour. She met with community members who are part of the women's basketball team; campus sustainability initiatives; diversity, equity and inclusion programs; the aerospace engineering program; and others.
CU President Todd Saliman visited campus on Feb. 21. He met with a variety of groups, including students and faculty and staff who focus on diversity, equity and inclusion in their roles. Saliman also toured the College of Music, which celebrated a state-of-the-art addition to its Imig Building last fall.
Thousands of Buff family members descended on campus on a sunny Oct. 14–17 weekend to visit students, attend presentations, tour the area and cheer on the Colorado Buffaloes in a football win.
