Casey Feldman Memorial Scholarship

Joel Feldman & Dianne Anderson, Casey Feldman's parents, at Day of Service 2012The Casey Feldman Memorial Endowment was established in honor of Casey Feldman, who passed away on July 17, 2009, after being hit by a car as a pedestrian. Casey’s life was much too short but she managed in those 21 years to accomplish so much and to touch the lives of many through her kindness, love, friendship, caring and compassion. Each year, the Casey Feldman Memorial Scholarship helps to fully fund SKO Serve programs for a number of CU Boulder students who may not otherwise be able to afford the opportunity. To read the stories of past Casey Feldman Scholarship recipients, visit the Casey Feldman Foundation website.

Students interested in receiving the Casey Feldman Memorial Scholarship will apply within their SKO Serve application early in the spring semester. Scholarship recipients will be notified via email in February and will attend a dinner in April with their scholarship donors, Joel Feldman and Dianne Anderson.

CU SKO Serve (formally Alternative Breaks) Scholarship

CU Student Government generously provides the SKO Serve program with funding to be allocated as scholarships, which is known as the CU SKO Serve Scholarship. This scholarship reduces the program cost for students with financial need, who otherwise may not be able to afford a SKO Serve program. For those whose financial situation may be a barrier to their participation in the SKO Serve program, please apply for the CU SKO Serve Scholarship on the Participant Application.
