Jacob is enrolled in the Global Engineering Professional Master’s program at CU Boulder. received a B.S. in Bioengineering from Washington State University in 2016, where he worked in a behavioral neuroscience lab researching brain circuitry involved in drug-seeking behavior. After graduation, he spent ~7 months traveling in South America, including a stint volunteering for the Bolivian Prosthetics Foundation in La Paz as a photographer and videographer. For the past 5 years he has worked for a small molecular biology company, primarily in technical support, sales, and marketing. He is interested in climate change adaptation and resilience, environmental conservation, and disaster risk reduction. In his free time Jacob enjoys photography, baking, climbing, skiing, and any number of other outdoor activities.
