Introduces students to the study and design of data in an international context. Students will visit Bletchley Park—where teams of mathematicians, chess wizards and crossword puzzle mavens broke the German Enigma code of WWII, Stonehenge— to learn how different national data privacy regulations affect social media data, and tour the "The Making of Harry Potter" at Warner Bros. Studios—where fictional design plays tricks with data expectations.
