Sriram Sankaranarayanan,Associate Dean for Digital Education, Professor of Computer Science
Sriram Sankaranarayanan is a professor of Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. His research interests include automatic techniques for reasoning about the behavior of computer and cyber-physical systems. Sriram obtained a PhD in 2005 from Stanford University where he was advised by Zohar Manna and Henny Sipma. Subsequently he worked as a research staff member at NEC research labs in Princeton, NJ. He has been on the faculty at CU Boulder since 2009.
Sriram teaches the following courses:

Kevin Gifford, Research Professor, Faculty Director of the Computer Science Coursera MS Program
Kevin Gifford's research focus is in wireless engineering. Prior to joining the Department of Computer Science, Kevin was a faculty member in aerospace engineering sciences at CU Boulder for 20 years. Kevin’s work has paved the way for cutting-edge communications in the toughest environment—space.

Mike Gazarik,Engineering Management Faculty Director, Lecturer
Dr. Michael Gazarik brings over 30 years of spaceflight experience to EMP. He joined Ball Aerospace in 2015 as Vice President of Engineering after serving as Associate Administrator for NASA's Space Technology Mission Directorate, where he led the development of transformative technologies for NASA’s missions. At Ball, he oversees engineering strategy and program execution and has driven increased diversity across the organization.
Dr. Gazarik joined EMP in 2022, teaching Aerospace Program Management and guest lecturing in other courses. His industry expertise and leadership insights give students valuable real-world perspectives on managing complex aerospace projects.

Tim Scherr,Teaching Associate Professor, Embedded Systems Engineering
Dr. Sherr's research has involved embedded systems design and digital signal processing, especially as implemented in programmable logic devices and FPGAs.

Michael Readey,W. Edwards Deming Professor of ManagementScholar In Residence
Dr. Michael Readey joined the Engineering Management Program in 2016 after 25 years in industry. As a passionate environmentalist, he has devoted his career to developing engineered solutions that support carbon-free energy, cleaner air, and cleaner water for a rapidly growing world.
By infusing principles of sustainability and regeneration into all of his courses, he hopes to enable today’s students to achieve their vision of a more sustainable and resilient future.
