A specialized, non-degree online graduate certificate is a great way to get started and immediately access knowledge that can be applied to your everyday life. A certificate also allows you to quickly demonstrate proficiencies to employers while adding value to your resume. 

Admission Requirements

All certificates require applicants to hold an undergraduate degree. Application deadlines for the certificate programs are the same as the MS programs. Applicants must complete an application and submit the following application materials:

  1. Statement of Purpose (1-2 pages)
  2. Transcript showing completion of an undergraduate degree
  3. Current resume
  4. One letter of recommendation

The 12-credit graduate certificate in Business Analytics Methods allows you to specialize in interpretation of business data. Completing this certificate will give you the skills to find a job or expand your career as an analyst in many positions such as: business intelligence, marketing, accounting, human resource management and many more. All courses must be passed with a B grade or better to count towards the certificate.

Supply Chain Analytics

 The 12-credit graduate certificate in Supply Chain Analytics allows you to specialize in fundamentals of supply chain data. Completing this certificate will give you the skills to find a job or expand your career as an analyst in many positions such as: supply chain network design, purchasing and procurement, demand forecasting and many more. All courses must be passed with a B grade or better to count towards the certificate.

Prerequisite: MSBC 5460: Supply Chain Strategy, or similar coursework/work experience to qualify for admission.

 The 12-credit graduate certificate in Healthcare Analytics allows you to develop the skillset needed to retrieve, analyze and interpret a vast range of health-related data. Completing this certificate will give you the skills to find a job or expand your career in healthcare. All courses must be passed with a B grade or better to count towards the certificate.

Prerequisite: Students must be enrolled at the University of Colorado College of Nursing in the Master’s Program in Informatics or have graduated from the Master’s Program in Informatics.

Frequently Asked Questions

Certificates typically take 3 semesters to complete. Students take one Summer class, one Fall class, and two Spring classes. Some students do complete the program in a shorter or longer time period.

No more than two due to class availability and certificate course requirements.

Yes. The student would still need to apply to the certificate program and complete some additional forms. 

Certificate students can only begin in July during the Summer Semester with the introductory class. 

Our certificate program courses follow the same Online delivery method as the Online MS degree programs.

Yes. Leeds certificate students have the option to transition to the degree program by applying for the degree prior to the end of your third class
