In addition to our updated recording studio, we have acquired over 40 new materials this past semester, all housed in The HIVE @ALTEC (Hellems 159). Some of our favorites include the German graphic novel Treibsand which tells the story of the fall of the Wall from the perspective of an American narrator; the Spanish game Cluedo, the classic whodunit game in Spanish; and the Israeli film Noodle, a touching comic-drama in which two human beings - as different from each other as Tel Aviv is from Beijing - accompany each other on a remarkable journey, one that takes them both back to a meaningful life.
