Modified Language Program

The Modified Language Program (MLP), developed at the University of Colorado Boulder over twenty years ago, offers Spanish language courses to students who demonstrate a need for curricular modifications.

The MLP courses are different from the equivalent mainstream classes mainly because different pedagogy, teaching materials, and methodology are employed to meet the needs of the students.

The program serves eligible CU Boulder baccalaureate degree-seeking students who have conditions with demonstrated impact on language learning: sustained traumatic brain injuries, sensory impairments, psychiatric diagnoses, returning veterans, etc..

The first step in the MLP eligibility process is a short intake interview via Microsoft Teams. Please schedule an intake interview via Microsoft Bookings.
