As an Undergraduate student you can be involved with the Mortenson Center in a variety of ways:
Global Engineering Residential Academic Program (RAP)
For students who care more about having real global impact than meeting minimum requirements, and who want to work alongside countries, communities and other professionals to identify and dismantle the underlying causes of persistent global poverty and to build resilience.
Global Engineering Minor
For students who want to expand student their understanding of how to operate within an international context from an engineering perspective and to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context.
Discovery Learning Apprenticeships
For students who want to be paid for hourly research with faculty whose work aligns with our mission.
Undergraduate Courses
For students who want to take First Year Engineering Projects, Water & Sanitation in Developing Countries, or Household Energy Systems in the Global South. Undergraduates can also request approval to enroll in Mortenson Center's 5000-level modules/series.
