His wife, Amy Eisenberg-Morrissey(Comm’92), is a full-time mom to their two daughters, Julia and Layla. The family lives in Long Island, N.Y.

Portland, Ore., resident Marcus Young (Engl’92) joined the nonprofit Central City Concern (CCC) as its social enterprise project manager. He oversees the development, execution, operations and sourcing for Central City Coffee, a wholesale coffee roasting business. Central City Coffee provides on-the-job training for CCC’s formerly homeless clients. Marcus has a decade of experience in specialty coffee product development, quality control, purchasing, business development, wholesale and retail sales. He is a U.S. Barista Competition head judge and writes about specialty coffee.

Flemming Award, which honors men and women who have offered exceptional service to the federal government for 3-15 years. At the U.S. Naval Research Academy in Monterey, Calif., James’ tropical cyclone sortie program calculates when and how ships and aircraft should evaluate areas threatened by severe storms.

She has been writing about the Rocky Mountain region for years as a journalist, including more than 10 as an assistant to the national correspondent at the Rocky Mountain Bureau of the New York Times. Denver author and illustrator Stan Yan (Acct), a former stockbroker best known for his zombie caricature illustrations, will be trying to help parents of fearful kids sleep this fall with a reading of his new bedtime picture book, There’s a Zombie in the Basement, and an interactive monster drawing demo. Stan decided to become a full-time cartoonist in 2005.
