Beatriz's current role as a Spanish-speaking Peer Mentor and Trainer benefits from her extensive experience in community support positions. Beatriz has held various roles, from Student Leadership Manager and Match Advisor at English In Action to Alma Peer Mentor and Trainer at Centro de Amistad and Valley Settlement since 2018. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in mentorship, community outreach, and resource navigation. Certified as a Peer Support Specialist in the state of Colorado, Beatriz also holds certifications in Alma Peer Mentor support, Mental First Aid, and PRS, among others. Her academic background includes training in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Cultural Humility, and Human Growth and Development.
